Simon will be talking at our Chimposium in October 2021 about Apple iOS 15. In case you didn’t already know, Apple will be introducing some privacy features that will both change the way you market via email to your customers and shift the focus of email reporting and analytics.

£20 a month… how about non-profits like clubs and societies who just need to keep their members up to date with events and competitions? There’s no selling or income from these its all social.
It has been very inconvenient, and insecure, to have to share a single login on new accounts.
Andrew, point taken – I was considering businesses who have a revenue model and who have frustration with paying when they’re generating revenue from it.
Ultimately, however, Mailchimp are a business and as such need to be wary of how much they can ‘give away for free’… and so they need to draw the line somewhere. They’re not perfect and don’t get it right all of the time, but it’s hard to throw stones at a tool, when you don’t have to pay for it, and it does remove some of the hassle of communication with a non-profit.
