Sometimes, there is no substitute to speaking directly with the experts, if you can get hold of them.

Getting hold of Mailchimp

One of the great things about Mailchimp is that you can use an awful lot of its facilities for free.

The downside though is that unless you pay for Mailchimp, you won’t easily get access to their support team if you’ve got questions.

In the first 30 days of setting up your account, you get access to the help desk via chat (I find the chat desk VERY helpful and knowledgeable), but after that, you’re on your own (apart from, of course, the ever excellent Mailchimp Answers Facebook Group and the great resources on this humble website).

However, there are some things that even here at Chimp Answers we can’t help with – especially when it comes to account specific queries.

If you’re an Agency and a Mailchimp Partner, then you can speak to Mailchimp on behalf of your client, but if you’re on your own, then you may not be able to get the answers you need.

Hope is not lost

However, just because you’re on a free account, it doesn’t mean that you have no options available to speak to Mailchimp about.

In fact, there are a number of options open if you urgently need to speak to someone at Mailchimp or have an account issue.

Firstly, there are a couple of email addresses that you might find useful.

The other option is to reach out to them via their Social Media feeds.  I’ve known several people who’ve been able to get their issues solved this way…

Just remember, that you’re not going to get an immediate response to your enquiry… it might take a bit of time.

Mailchimp want you to get your problems solved

Despite appearances, Mailchimp wants you to get your problems solved.

Using these links will help you with account specific issues and get you on the right track… but remember that this is just for account specific stuff.

      Test emails always are more likely to go to your spam.. because you may send yourself lots of tests but not open them all.
      A test email going to spam is not an indication that every email goes to spam.

    The downside of the account recovery team at mailchimp is that they only work during weekdays, regular openinghours. That is a huge downside if you’re having problems logging into your account during the weekends.

      I agree it’s not ideal, but considering Mailchimp work with millions of systems there’s always going to be a minor delay in responding at any time.
